Welcome to
Treetop Rocks

Treetop Rocks is a unique & innovative social enterprise based in west-central Scotland.
AGES
We teach tree climbing to children (3+) and adults in beautiful parks, woodlands, & estates in & around Glasgow.
LOCATIONS
We move around so our locations vary but are up-to-date on the bookings page.
MAPS
You'll find maps showing the exact location of the trees below.
BENEFITS
How we climb is different to regular tree climbing & is called RTC (Recreational Tree Climbing). With the right teaching, RTC can be experienced by almost anybody! It builds confidence, teaches new skills, encourages mindfulness & focus, & helps develop self-esteem.
IMPACT
RTC session input includes information about the trees we are climbing & about the importance of protecting Scotland's natural heritage. Unlike some treetop trails & assault courses, in RTC no platforms, walkways, or permanent structures are created & no damaging materials such as nails are deployed. By connecting to nature through RTC, we hope to encourage participants – both children and adults – to develop a love and respect for forest ecosystems.
Having fun is a huge part of what we do…
...but it’s not the only aim!
We are a social enterprise set up to help disadvantaged & vulnerable children & adults in Glasgow.
We offer fully & partially funded climbing programmes & are delighted that the Big Lottery has recognised our work with their support in 2024. Their generous grant enables us to significantly expand the provision of our fully funded spaces to disadvantaged children & adults within the boundaries of Glasgow City.
With the right support almost anybody can experience the mental & physical health benefits of climbing in nature!
We’re experienced in working with diverse abilities, additional support needs & all levels of confidence & anxiety.
Whether you want to ascend to the top of the trees for a bird's eye view, or simply stay close to the base for a rope swing in beautiful surroundings, we will help you to do it safely & confidently!

experience the unique benefits of an exhilarating climb in Scotland's beautiful natural heritage
Climbing at

Xani, age 6, had to use his best tree climbing skills to escape the huge bear that appeared in the woods at Kelburn Estate in Scotland.
Go Xani! Slide those prusik knots as fast as you can! I think that bear is stealing you 🌳🐻!!
(Pop on the subtitles because his chat is pretty funny 🤣)
Beautiful Kelburn Castle is one of our favourite places to climb too....catch us there again this year via our booking page....
